What is Institute?

The institutes of religion program of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is intended to provide religious education for young adults ages 18 to 30. All ages are, however, welcome to attend. Institute provides an opportunity for students to strengthen their commitment to Jesus Christ as they study the scriptures and the words of modern-day prophets.

Currently, many class offerings are available.

Who can participate? 

Online Institute is available to any young single adult, young married adult, and BYU-Pathway student of any age. It is also available to anyone who is interested in the BYU-Pathway experience. 

Flexibility for Individuals

Online options provide support to each learner, whether they are in a faith crisis, preparing for the temple, or continuing their journey on the covenant path.
