Tabernacle Eperience on Saturday, September 30

A life-size representation of the wilderness tabernacle of Moses will be assembled this weekend at the Wilson County Tennessee State Fair Grounds.

Following is from the event website:

Upon entering the building, you will enjoy learning about the customs of the people who lived in this era.....the food they ate, fabrics they used and how they colored them, musical instruments they played, how they wrote and what they read, the money they used and other customs of the era. And as you gather and await the departure of your tour group, you will hear notable speakers, see informative films, and answer interactive survey questions on your cell phone.

As you begin your tour, you will hear the Shofar's Call to Worship, you can expect authenticity in materials, costumes and furnishings that enhance the historical, biblically accurate information that will be shared with you about this most sacred of Tabernacles where God chose to dwell on earth. You may even see a spotless lamb here and there.

Learn about the Ark of the Covenant and why it was here, where the Israelites worshipped God throughout their journey in the wilderness and where He dwelt among His people.

It is time for America to turn her face back to God and there is a growing hunger in America to do just that. There will be Prayer Tents available for those who are moved to prayer and perpetual worship throughout the day, in which all are welcome to participate. We as a community offer this opportunity for each and every man, woman and child who attends this special event and pray that that moment is now.

Guided tours will be conducted on Saturday, September 30th starting at 9 am and the last tour will be at 8 pm at no charge to the public. Plan to spend at least an hour or so with us.

The Tabernacle will be available for private group reservations on October 1st for services for one hour periods between 7am and 7 pm.

There will also be a private teaching and tour of the Tabernacle for school groups on Monday October 2nd between 8am and 12 noon.
