Dear Members of the Franklin Tennessee Stake,
As you are likely aware, the recent tornadoes have caused significant damage to the Hohenwald and Waynesboro Clifton areas, leaving many families and communities devastated. In light of this, we are organizing a cleanup effort, and we need your help.
On Saturday, April 8th, we will be meeting in two locations at 8:00 am, one at 311 Rush Branch Rd, Hohenwald, TN and the other at 2505 Waynesboro Hwy, Waynesboro, TN (Crazy Horse Canoe Rental). We are looking for volunteers to help with the cleanup effort, and we need 30+ people for Hohenwald and 20+ people for Waynesboro.
We welcome any tractors, skid steers, or equipment that can be used to move trees. We also encourage volunteers to bring chainsaws and any equipment for trimming trees. Safety is our top priority.
This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those affected by the tornadoes. We hope you can join us and help make a positive impact on these communities. If you have any questions about the cleanup effort or would like to volunteer, please search your email application for “URGENT CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS - Tornado Damage Cleanup in Hohenwald & Waynesboro” for contact information.
Thank you for your consideration, and we look forward to working with you.
