On April 27th (Sat.), we will join the youth of the Church around the world in serving our communities. We will be doing a project in Lawrenceburg with the Lawrence County Senior Citizens Club. See details below:
Meeting Point: Meet at Lawrence County Senior Citizens Club: 220 Centennial Blvd, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464
Time: 8:30 AM
Project: Landscaping, house cleaning, tree trimming, bush cutting, general clean up (Senior Club & individual homes)
Lunch/Wrap Up: 11:00-11:30 AM at Lawrenceburg Ward Building
Travel: We are leaving it up to the wards to get their youth/leaders down there and back. Feel free to work with neighboring wards to coordinate, if that helps.
Moving Youth around in Lawrenceburg: We'll need a few of the drivers/vehicles to shuttle different groups of youth (4-6 youth) to different homes where help is needed, and then getting them back to the Lawrenceburg ward building for lunch. Once we know who is going from your ward, we'll reach out and coordinate and ask for help with this.
Supplies Needed: Many supplies will be provided, but some seniors do not have tools. We need enough tools to keep youth engaged. If you have any rakes, brooms, tree/shrub trimmers, loppers, shears, shovels, etc., please stick them in the back of your vehicle. (Write your name and phone number on them just in case.)
Headcount: Please get us a headcount for youth and leaders from your unit ASAP.
